Oh Happy Day!

Hi there everyone it's Mindy from My Creative Scoop! Today I'm using this darling Balloon image. Isn't she gorgeous!! I wanted to keep the layout simple to leave the main focus to the adorable image.

I used my Copic markers and don't you just love the glossy accents on the balloon. I even put some on her eyes. In person it looks so cool, almost like a real life cartoon!

I hand drew the sentiment. I love the way it came out and how I can use this card for Birthday or anything really. That's probably one of my favorite things about Krista's images. They are so versatile.

I hope you are inspired by my little creation. You can get your Saturated Canary images at

Spring Fawn.....

Morning! Jane here with something new I have had a go at! I made this heart a while back and thought I would try stamping on it......I splodged ( very technical word) some gesso onto the heart first to give me a base to stamp on .... Used Distress Ink to colour Spring Fawn which hasn't come out as perfectly as I wanted but I still like it!

                                                             Have a great day!

Winter and the Beach

Hi there!
Franz here today with a new Saturated Canary Girl!

We are having some very cold days here and I love staying at home with my loved ones and a cup of chocolate, but I also love going to the beach to have a long walk with some friends and I often do it on Saturday Morning....

So this image from Krista Smith immediately made me smile and think to my friends and our walks, but we are really less fashion when we go to the beach!!!

More details on my blog if you like :)
I wish you all a happy week,

Sick of Being Sick

Well, not me - but just this cute image. :)
Happy Friday evening, everyone! This late post is brought to you by a second grade bowling alley field trip and inclement weather everywhere. teehee! No complaints here, as it ended up being a very fun day and now an even snugglier evening.

I colored up Sick of Being Sick in more muted tones, and of course in a queasy green:

(I don't know how Krista does it, but even her under the weather girls are so adorable!) I used a rub on sentiment and ribbon from Stampin' Up, and added some scrap papers to match her nightie and overall gray scheme. I had so much fun with this image, but I certainly don't want anyone to feel like this though. ;)

Have a wonderful weekend, thank you for stopping by. Stay bundled wherever you are!

Mustaches and Tats

Hi there.

New DT member Sandra here with a journal page to share with you.

I used the gorgeous Mustaches and Tats Digi, you can get her HERE,
from the Saturated Canary Shop. I coloured her using my ProMarker pens.

How cool is she?
I did however almost freak out when I thought I had spelt Moustache wrong on my page but it turns out the UK spells it differently to the USA, phew, huge sigh of relief. Meltdown averted.

Thank you for stopping by today.
Hope you have a great day.
Please feel free to stop by my blog for more information.

Hi everyone,

It's DT Yani here with another inspirational post for you!

This time I created a double-spread page on my art journal featuring the lovely Reflection stamp and you can find it here.

I colored it with Prismacolor Pencils (no blending solution was used!). Isn't she pretty? ;)

And in case that you were wondering about the background, I used different pieces of patterned paper, Gelatos, white acrylic paint, stencils, and a black pen.

As for the chipboard stickers, they are by Pink Paislee.

I hope that you liked it and thanks for stopping by! ~xoxo~

Nympha - A blu Fairy ♥

Hi everybody!

I've had a quite relaxing week-end, I hope you too!
We are having some warm days here and I've had a walk on the beach on Saturday, loved it so much :)

Today I've a lovely fairy for you with a pair of funny pointed ears; she's beautiful, romantic and magical as all fairies drawn by Krista.
I wanted making her as magical as I can, so I used an odd color for her hair (...not so odd for a fairy indeed!):

Let's have a look to my BLOG if you like to know something more about my Nympha  :)

Thank you all for stopping by
Have a "not so busy" week!

Warming up with Neeve

Happy beautiful Friday everyone! It's Joni here, with a little love to end the week. I colored up the adorable Neeve (available in a bundle HERE) as she's one of my all time favorites. I love that Krista's images have so many clothing possibilities to design around: I added little white hearts to Neeve's top with a white Inkessentials pen, then lightly went over her pants with a N2 Copic to turn it into plaid. So much fun to coordinate with your patterned papers! The sentiment is a rub on from Hobby Lobby, and I bought that fun heart ribbon from the dollar spot at Target.
I hope you all have great plans for the weekend. If it's lazy and chilly, be sure to stop by Krista's shop to spoil yourself with some new digis to color up! :) Thank you for coming by to see me!

Hi everyone!
